About Us
Liberty Encounters is multi generational small family history education business based in northern Delaware and southeastern Pennsylvania. The chief operator is Aaron Bradford. As a child, Bradford learned that he is a direct descendant from Plymouth Governor William Bradford. After the first Governor of Plymouth Colony died, William Bradford was elected Governor and served in that position for over 30 one year terms. He also twice served as President of the United Colonies of New England.

However, Governor Bradford is widely considered America's first historian. He dedicated his book Of Plimoth Plantation to a "singular regard to the simple truth in all things." Completed in 1651, the book chronicles the early history of a band of Christians who voyaged in 1620, "for the Glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith" to plant a colony in the northern parts of Virginia. The first settlers of Plymouth became known as the Pilgrims. In 1820, a soaring oration by Daniel Webster at Plymouth Rock gave a greater national appreciation for the example set in embodying the American ideals of faith, freedom, and virtue. Such a strong personal connection had a profound effect upon Aaron and his father David!
