Aaron Bradford is a High School History & Literature Teacher, National Association of Interpretation Certified Interpretive Guide, & Living Historian. He has shared a passion for history and engaged over half a million fellow Americans over the past 30 years.

Review from Dr. William Potter, Historian, Landmark Events:
"Living History" reenactors bring the past to life for children and adults. Very few have the versatility, historical knowledge, and professionalism to present interpretations of different eras. Aaron Bradford is just such an interpreter, however, whether bringing a Civil War soldier to life or joining with his father David in recreating the 17th century Plymouth Pilgrims with proper vocal accents. The verisimilitude of direct descent from Governor William Bradford himself adds a poignancy unknown in any other living history presentation in America. In Aaron and David Bradford, the past isn't even past!

From Participants:
I think that this was the most fun, exciting, and coolest activity we have done all year, no lie!

I have been reading ahead in our… history book and I am enjoying reading about it a lot.

From Parents:

Aaron, our children had a fanTAStic time on the 7th. They are raving about it and are already planning to attend next year, so I hope you have something in the works!

From Teachers and Administrators:
Once again, I found the quality of your program very impressive. The students were captivated and inspired.

Aaron did a great job with my students.  It is very hard to keep the attention of high school boys, and Aaron did it with ease. Seeing history come to life was an amazing experience for the students.  An experience I don't think they will soon forget.

Our guide, Aaron Bradford, was the best guide we’ve ever had at any of these kind of parks. So many of the parents made the same observation…

From Guests to Historic Sites:

Personal experience with host Aaron stood out. Outstanding effort by Aaron. We have been from St. Augustine, Florida, to Fort McHenry, (Maryland), to up as far as Fort Ticonderoga, New York.  Best job by Aaron.

Aaron was the best living historian I’ve ever experienced in any historic site!! It was perfect!! From a former Park Service employee.

We stopped by Fort Jackson on our way to get dinner at the Crab Shack. We were expecting to get a good walk through some preserved Fort, but what we got blew our minds! The Fort itself is small, but well-preserved and rich in history. The REAL treat are the staff soldiers!! I have been all over the country visiting battlefield sites. I, without hesitation, feel that PVT Aaron Bradford is the most knowledgeable and articulate historian/re-enactor in the US today. A bold statement, but he is that good. He left us speechless, and my daughters spellbound, with his abilities to weave a story while demonstrating the live fire weapons of that period. Truly unbelievable. A must see!

From Girl Scout Leaders:

As you’re planning your trip to Savannah, I’d encourage you to book a history tour with Aaron Bradford. He was very reasonably priced and worth every penny. His presentation is very interactive. The girls learned about American history during the 1770's (and how it affected Savannah). We marched and sang around the city as we saw monuments and learned about important people and events of that time. Aaron was witty and had a great rapport with the girls. The tour lasted 90 minutes, and it held our sixth graders’ attention the whole time. This was truly one of my favorite things we did on our trip.

Our Girl Scout troop recently had the privilege of embarking on a Revolutionary War tour led by the charismatic Sergeant Bradford, adorned in authentic soldier attire, accompanied by drums, and armed with a musket. It was an experience that left us all in awe and inspired a newfound appreciation for history. From the moment Sergeant Bradford greeted us with a resounding drum roll and the crack of his musket, we knew we were in for an adventure unlike any other. His passion for history was contagious, and his enthusiasm ignited our curiosity as we eagerly followed him through the streets of Savannah. Sergeant Bradford's storytelling skills were exceptional, as he skillfully wove together tales of bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism from the Revolutionary War era. His engaging anecdotes brought history to life in a way that captivated the attention of our Girl Scouts, sparking their imaginations and fostering a deeper understanding of the past. One of the tour's highlights was the interactive demonstrations led by Sergeant Bradford himself. From demonstrating the loading and firing of his musket to teaching us traditional military drills, each activity provided a hands-on experience that allowed us to step into the shoes of Revolutionary War soldiers.

Moreover, Sergeant Bradford's commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for our Girl Scouts was truly commendable. He took the time to answer their questions thoughtfully and encouraged their participation every step of the way, ensuring that each scout felt valued and engaged throughout the tour. In conclusion, the Revolutionary War tour led by Sergeant Bradford is an educational and memorable experience that I would highly recommend to any Girl Scout troop. His passion for history, coupled with his authentic attire, drums, and musket, creates an immersive journey through Savannah's revolutionary past that is sure to leave a lasting impression on scouts of all ages.

From Tour Operator:

I've been giving tours in Savannah for 22 years and you're the best guide I've ever seen.

From Heritage Organizations

...Your presentation was terrific.  You were a one man army!! ...your performance was perfect... thank you for a great performance.  I know our group very much enjoyed it.

Aaron delivered the most amazing lecture at Savannah Yacht Club last night!!! There were approximately 70-80 people in attendance who were on the edge of their seats during his entire presentation. Everyone attending learned many things they did not know about Savannah, the Battle here, and the War overall. He received a standing ovation, which is something to say being that the crowd was over a certain age and had enjoyed a few cocktails as well.

Dozens of attendees approached Aaron, myself, and the Club coordinators to give the highest praise of Aaron's gift as a public speaker, share how impressed they were by his depth of knowledge on the subject, and express how much they enjoyed attending this lecture. At least a dozen individuals who have regularly attended this monthly lecture series since it began 3 or 4 years ago expressed that this was by far the BEST lecture they've attended. One guest visiting friends from Atlanta mentioned he wanted to talk to his Colonial group and see if there might be a way to get Aaron up there to speak to their organization.

I just wanted to say that Aaron really hit one out of the park last night. I've seen his presentations hundreds of times, and every time I am thrilled to see what he does, but last night was over the top incredible!!! Well done sir!!! The crowd loved you!!!!
