You're invited to the Georgia Patriot Refugees Learning Adventure
March into the beautiful Preserve on Whitemarsh Island, GA

Georgia Patriot Refugee

Learning Adventure

Just as Savannah was captured by the British in 1778 and many Patriots were forced to flee, our Georgia Patriot Refugee Learning Adventure invites you to leave the splendor of the squares of Savannah for the nearby countryside.  Shoulder your musket and proceed along the beautiful 3/4 of a mile trail and 2 acre field at the Preserve on Whitemarsh Island.  Practice the skills and learn of the perseverance, sacrifice, and courage displayed by the men, women, and children of the Georgia Refugees.  Take part in the pivotal losses and victories by the Georgia Patriots led by James Jackson at the Battle of Cowpens and beyond.  The later days of the American Revolution in the South may be experienced in a fun, engaging, and unforgettable way!
